Weekly Activities

October 12, 2015: Posillico, National Grid's Remediation Contractor, has begun mobilization activities which include delivery of equipment for remediation activities and construction support trailers. In addition, Posillico completed below-grade clearing activities in the bulkhead area and installed a silt fence along the bulkhead to prevent loose ground material from entering Jamaica Bay.  National Grid's consulting engineers has completed the initial background (i.e., baseline) measurements for CAMP, noise, and vibration.

For the week of October 19, 2015, Posillico will continue mobilization activities that include mobilization of equipment to the staging area and leveling some of the bulkhead area so that the machines can site level while performing the remedial activities.
